Tnylst is a local inventory app for food, fridge, and cleaning. Items, quantities, and reorder lines live on your iPhone — not in a cloud meal-plan pantry. Local low-stock alerts, then a tiny family restock list. No Tnylst account for the core app.
What stays local
Match the live Privacy Policy: most app data stays on your device — inventory you add (name, quantity, category, notes, icons), shopping / order list selections, and preferences (language, appearance, notification choices, household name). We do not require a Tnylst user account to use core inventory.
That is the privacy household stock tracker wedge. A private pantry app in this sense means on-device household inventory, not a slogan about encryption we have not documented. We do not claim end-to-end encryption, audits, or “fully offline forever.” We do not sell personal data. We do not track you across other apps for advertising in the current version. Local low-stock alerts
If you allow notifications, the system may show local alerts when items run low. Notification content is generated on your device after the app refreshes status — same wording as the privacy policy, same product as /low-stock-alerts/. This is not a cloud marketing drip and not a meal-plan reminder inbox.
Shared family list — product-true sync
A shared restock list still works without turning Tnylst into a cloud pantry OS. Two honest paths, from family shopping list from low stock:
Text-share (free). You choose Messages, WhatsApp, Mail, or another destination. Those services have their own policies. Only content you explicitly share leaves the device through the destination you pick.
Live family links (Tnylst Plus, $4.99 one-time). A short restock checklist others can tick. Links expire in about seven days. That is a live list channel — not a sync of your full inventory to a meal-plan cloud. We will not call the app “fully offline” while that optional path exists. The three shelves, thresholds, and statuses still live on the iPhone you hold. The list you share is the slice you chose to send, not a shadow pantry in someone else’s meal OS.
Not a meal OS
KitchenPal-style pantry suites want recipes, accounts, and a cloud pantry that exists to feed dinner. Tnylst’s job is restock: food, fridge, and cleaning, with inventory on the iPhone. Fair split: pantry app without a meal planner. We will not claim Tnylst plans meals, stores a recipe cloud, or replaces a meal-plan OS.
Website vs app
Marketing pages on tnylst.app are static. We do not use advertising trackers on those pages. Standard web logs (IP, user agent) may be processed by the host (Cloudflare) for security and reliability — again, the privacy policy, not a new claim. The inventory you track in the app is a different store: on the device.
